Hyperliquid Outpaces Robinhood in Trading Volume for Third Straight Month
Hyperliquid has extended its dominance over Robinhood in monthly trading volume, marking the third consecutive month of outperformance. July's gap widened to 39.1%, with the decentralized derivatives exchange processing $330.8 billion in combined spot and perpetual volume compared to Robinhood's $237.8 billion across all products.
Robinhood's July breakdown included $209.1 billion in equities, $195.8 million in options, and $28.7 billion in crypto. Hyperliquid's $93 billion advantage represents its strongest monthly performance yet against the retail platform.
The protocol has maintained consistent growth since May, when it traded $256 billion versus Robinhood's $192 billion. Year-to-date cumulative volume approaches $2 trillion, with August figures already exceeding $349 billion as of the 25th.
